Struggling with the death of her beloved husband, Annie Clark (Julie Walters) has a warm memory in her heart of something he said about her and all the ladies of their Yorkshire village... that they grow more glorious as they age. The local hospital has always used a calandar to raise money and Annie and her friends decide to produce a tasteful, yet nude calendar full of the beautiful middle aged women to raise money for leukemia research and wing at the hospital. Little did they know that their calendar would be such a huge hit and that none of them would ever be the same. Warmth, humor. love and friendship bring them all through a tough time together.
