Batman (George Clooney) and Robin (Chris O’Donnell) team up again to save Gotham City from the newest threat, the cold-hearted Mr. Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger), who plots to lead the metropolis into an icy grave. The Dynamic Duo’s partnership suffers, though, as the seductive Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman) weaves her spell of pheromones to keep their attentions fixated on her—and against each other. Only newcomer Batgirl (Alicia Silverstone) can bring the pair back together to defeat the villains. Batman must protect his young allies while working to combat Freeze and Ivy’s sinister scheme, even as his personal life as Bruce Wayne takes the usual toll, and his beloved friend and butler Alfred suffers from a mysterious disease that only Mr. Freeze can cure.
