Scooby, Shaggy (Matthew Lilliard) and the gang find themselves looking the fools after one of their old nemisis seems to be bringing the monsters they have previously defeated back to life. After the monster exhibits are stolen from a muesum, it is up to the gang to clear their name as reporter Heather Jasper-How (Alicia Silverstone) accuses the gang of being frauds as they can't seem to catch the thief. Scooby and Shaggy set off to prove that they are capable of solving a crime on their own and it doesn't take them long to find trouble. Can the Mystery, Inc. gang find out who is behind the rebirth of all the monsters from their past or will Coolsville no longer have a place in their hearts for these troublesome kids?
