Batman (Val Kilmer) must stop the schizophrenic Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones) and the delirious, demented Riddler (Jim Carrey) before their fiendish plot to sap Gotham’s brain waves takes hold of the city. But if his challenges as the Dark Knight weren’t hard enough, his life as Bruce Wayne is taking its own turns: a beautiful psychologist (Nicole Kidman) has arrived in his life, and seems to harbor as many feelings for Batman as for the man behind the mask. As Bruce struggles with balancing his quest to avenge his parents with a normal life as the man he’s never gotten to be, he finds his crisis reflected in the life of the recently orphaned Dick Grayson (Chris O’Donnell), out for revenge and in need of guidance. To save Gotham, Bruce must don the cape and cowl… with the help of a new partner.
