Wintertime in Gotham City sees the chilling rise of two fiendish new villains: the sadistic Penguin (Danny DeVito) and the seductive Catwoman (Michelle Pfieffer). Batman (Michael Keaton) is wrongfully accused of turning evil himself. Led on by twisted industrialist Max Schreck (Christopher Walken), the Penguin tries to integrate himself into high Gotham society—including a bid for Mayor—while Catwoman’s crimes challenge Batman’s heart as much as his mind… for while as black-clad villains they fight, as ordinary people Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle an attraction is brewing. Batman must not only prove his own innocence, but stop Schreck’s corrupt plot and foil the Penguin’s even crueler schemes while confronting his own confused feelings about the duality both in Catwoman and himself.
